European MP Ana Miranda Calls for Decisive Action to Deliver Aid to Gaza

Member of the European Parliament Ana Miranda has called on the European Union to take a decisive stance regarding the ongoing Israeli genocide in the Gaza Strip and to work on providing humanitarian aid directly.

Miranda explained, "The Palestinian people are eagerly awaiting aid, and we need strong international pressure to end the aggression. The European Union must be more assertive in dealing with the Israeli massacres against Palestinians, whether in the Gaza Strip or the West Bank."

She added that the biggest challenge lies in confronting the continued support from some Western countries for Israel, noting that recognizing the State of Palestine and achieving the two-state solution principle is a fundamental step toward achieving peace in the Middle East.

The MP affirmed that recognizing the State of Palestine is the only way to guarantee international legitimacy for Palestine and to end the ongoing violations. She added that it could also be the beginning of ending the unjust war and putting a stop to the ongoing destruction in Gaza.
