Press Release Issued by the League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds and Palestine Regarding the Escalation of Settler Terrorism in the West Bank and Field Executions by the Occupation Army

The League of Parliamentarians for Al-Quds and Palestine is following with grave concern the dangerous and systematic escalation of attacks by terrorist settler militias on Palestinian villages and towns in the occupied West Bank. These perpetrators have resorted to burning homes, fields, and agricultural lands under the direct protection and green light of the occupation army.

What is taking place in the streets and towns of the West Bank is full-fledged "organized state terrorism." Crime roles are interchanged between settler gangs—who burn and destroy Palestinian property and livelihoods—and the occupation army, which provides them with complete security cover. The occupation army further escalates its criminal actions by conducting cold-blooded field executions against young Palestinian men simply attempting to confront this barbaric aggression and defend their families and homes.

The scenes of fires consuming fields and homes, along with repeated field executions, reaffirm that these crimes are not isolated incidents. Rather, they are the practical execution of a policy of ethnic cleansing and forced displacement—an effort to uproot Palestinians from their land to impose new demographic and geographic realities by force of arms and terrorizing peaceful civilians.

• The League calls for the prompt designation of settler militias as "terrorist organizations," along with the enactment of legislation to prosecute their leaders and members, and the imposition of strict, comprehensive sanctions on anyone who finances or provides them with political and security cover.

• The League demands that the international community and UN bodies move immediately beyond verbal condemnations and suspicious silence to take binding, practical steps to provide urgent international protection for the Palestinian people and halt the execution spree.

• The League stresses that these practices, which amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity, require urgent international legal action to be added to the cases submitted to the International Criminal Court (ICC), ensuring occupation leaders and militia officials are held accountable and do not escape punishment.
