Abbas Zaki: The League represents a global platform that gathers parliamentary positions to confront the occupation

Member of the Executive Committee of the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, and member of the Palestinian National Council, Abbas Zaki, said that there is an ethical duty on the free world, Arab peoples, and Islamic nations to enhance the steadfastness of the Palestinian people and ensure their survival on their land until they obtain their legitimate rights.

Zaki added, during the Executive Committee meeting of the League, that the aggression of the occupation on the Qatari capital Doha confirms that this criminal entity does not only target the Palestinian people, but poses a direct threat to the stability of the region and the world as a whole.

Zaki denounced the double standards of the international community, where some official organizations, the U.S. administration, and Western countries are preoccupied with the prisoners of the occupation, while ignoring thousands of Palestinian prisoners held in tragic detention conditions, considering this blatant discrimination a contempt for international laws due to the absolute cover provided by the West to this rogue entity.

Zaki praised the significant efforts made by the League of Parliamentarians for al-Quds and Palestine, through its parliamentary and diplomatic actions against the crimes of genocide in Gaza, and its role in unifying the voices of parliamentarians worldwide in support of Palestine and its people's rights, emphasizing that the Palestinian cause will remain alive in the conscience of free peoples.

He affirmed that the League represents a global parliamentary platform seeking to mobilize official and popular positions to confront the occupation and hold it accountable, calling on all parliamentarians to engage with the League's initiatives and work to translate solidarity positions into practical steps on the ground.
